REPEAT:

Last hour and a half of labour with a spontaneous birth.

Lauree Lohnes
Having my third baby (Leila) at a birth centre in New Zealand. Labour started at 4:30am, and stayed fairly mild til the last two hours where I dilated from 4cm to 10cm and progressed through to a fast delivery of baby (12:51pm). I raced to the toilet a minute before she crowned thinking I needed to go, and hello baby!! Video taken by my 87 year old grandfather who had never seen a birth before :-) Baby born healthy, 8 lb 2 oz. Pain relief (only nitrous oxide gas) used in last 45 minutes of labour.
Proud to welcome Leila into the world, a little sister to Eden (14months), and Ariel (31 months).
